Shore Physicians Group Welcomes Family Medicine Specialist Dr. Helene Loubeau to its Atlantic City Office

Expanding its ability to treat South Jersey residents well, Shore Physicians Group (SPG) announced that Family Medicine specialist Helene Loubeau, D.O., who currently treats patients at its three Shore Urgent Care locations, is now also practicing primary care at its Atlantic City office, located on the first floor of Caesars’ parking garage, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Loubeau is also a Geriatric Fellow, Cultural Medicine Fellow and is currently enrolled and completing an Aesthetics Fellowship.  She is particularly passionate about women’s health, adolescent health, diabetes and end of life care.  Fluent in Creole, English and French, Dr. Loubeau also speaks Spanish and is an advocate for health and wellness in the South Jersey Haitian population.

Dr. Loubeau received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, part of the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY.  She is also a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. After completing general surgery internships at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at West Jersey-Memorial Family Practice in Voorhees, NJ.  In 2014, Dr. Loubeau completed a Fellowship at White Memorial Medical Center’s Cultural Medicine Training Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Loubeau has served in private practice treating both inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adult patients, including geriatric, and as medical house physician at Abington Memorial Hospital, Virtua Health System and Presbyterian Hospital.  She served as a palliative care consultant at Underwood Memorial Hospital (now Inspira) where she remains the chair of the Peer Review Committee for the Family Medicine department and was Assistant Program Director in addition to serving as Faculty for Underwood Memorial Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Loubeau to our Atlantic City location, where she will help bridge the gap in family care for specific populations, especially the Haitian community. As a member of the Haitian community herself and through her professional experiences, Dr. Loubeau has developed a deep understanding of the religious and cultural needs of patients from all backgrounds,” said SPG Chief Administrative Officer Mark Stephens.
